It’s been a long month!
Poor RoboterKam- the abused, tired site born on a drunken summers eve in August ‘09 served as our HQ and dumping ground for some months. We suffered with an odd layout and a prettier-than-functional portfolio, but still managed to make RK shine- and not without some success and attention.
Josh and I mercilessly subjected all of our friends and coworkers to the photographs and videos we posted.
Time Raptor has (at least among my friends) become a household name, and a couple other videos even made it to the big screen in downtown Victoria a month or three ago.
The RoboterKam Facebook group even has more than two dozen members and counting- pretty good, considering we haven’t really pushed the site that much, knowing it was going to die a horrible delete-y death, which happened early on January first, 2010.
After a lot of laziness and a bit of hard work, RoboterKam has crawled out of the ashes of the old, inadequate site and unveiled it’s terrible visage for all the world to see!
This time around, we’ve put a lot more thought into interacting with our user base- besides the standard ’share’ button that can be used to publish articles on a variety of social media sites, there’s a whole mini-Facebook-ish community accessible by registering on the site. A user gallery has also been added, so that everyone can upload and share their own pics. That’s just the start, too- RK’s primary reason d’etre will always be to showcase our work, but we fully plan to add and refine community-oriented features as time passes.
Please, bear with us for a bit as we repopulate the portfolio/blog, and make a final decision on how we’re going to handle our new video library.
This time around, things will be big!

Now finish the site!
